First off I just returned after a five day recoup in the hospital for a leg infection and yesterday, Dec 26th, at 4:30pm (CST) I brought our German Shepherd, Salem, to the vet to have him put to sleep. The machines actually ran well today, with a small interruption of pick-up and placement issues occasionally popping up. It started out a nice balmy 56°F and partly sunny when I took the kids to school. Hardly any wind. By noon it started to cloudy up even further where you got the occassional full sun, then back to overcast and did it ever get windy. Just before 3:30pm the sky darkened and it began to rain.
