Silent, but deadless... Deadless?
Woooo weee! It been just under 2 years and 2 months since I last posted. Man how time has flown. Lots has happened, but yet nothing that could be construed as post-worthy. But then again, what exactly is 'construed' as post-worthy? 'I ate a piece of toast with raisins this morning when I realized that it wasn't a raisin on the toast' or 'Rained again last night. Everything is wet.'But you get the gist of what I'm getting at. Sure I could of constantly posted 'Looked for jobs again, and still haven't found anything.' But I would think that would get really boring after the first 10 posts. Granted I could of used that time to incorporate some of my hobbies. But who has money to spend on those hobbies? Not me! Well at least back then I didn't. But after nearly 1.5 years of being unemployed I finally got a job back in June and have just reached my one month work anniversary.
Oh sure that may not seem like a big deal, but when you've been unemployed for nearly 2 years, it is a big deal. I can't tell you how happy I am (and was) when I got the phone call saying that I could start next week. Finally, I was no longer suckling at the Federal teat and draining the funds that were available. I know this is going to sound weird, but I am happy to be once again 'giving back' the money I was given.
